The other bonus is the anima regen on awakened weapon which is great for spamming those yokai abilities.The statuses purity and corruption aren't that good in my opinion because there aren't enough ways to boost accumulation on a target. However ki damage based attacks are very good. Once an enemy, usually bosses, are out of ki, you can deal incredible burst damage while they recoil.I would recommend, especially for the second DLC, to at least level up your Omnyo a little bit.
