I was wondering if a moonveil mage build is still good. Definitely yes, still really strong. But honestly anything in this game can be strong if you know how to build it properly. Im using that and Dark Moon Greatsword. Moonveil is nice for little guys and getting some sharp damage in. Obviously in pvp it’s still alive and well. Maybe at the higher end it’s better in pve but so far at lower levels it’s underwhelming. I can’t even use it to level anymore. It doesn’t even stagger regular gate front knights. SONAF is still good, as it should be for a weapon cast that long and a flame wave that can't even hit an enemy if you're half an inch above its head or on an incline.
